  • Butter bar uses 35% cream to produce its butters, and the cream is sourced from local Ontario suppliers.

  • Currently, Butter Bar is only shipping to customers in the Greater Toronto Area. However, our mission is to be able to share our gourmet flavoured butters with Canadian’s from coast to coast, so stay tuned for our expansion plans!

  • You can purchase our butters online from www.butterbar.ca and you will be notified via email,  when your butter is ready for shipping and when you can expect it to arrive to the address you provided within our shipping area.

  • Butter Bar produces lightly salted butters, allowing our butter lovers to add their salt preference to dishes, recipes and the various ways they enjoy our flavoured butters.

  • We change our Butter Bar flavours seasonally, so we suggest reviewing  the ingredients for each Butter Bar flavour, before purchasing.

  • Currently we are producing our gourmet flavoured butters with a 35% natural dairy cream.

  • The butter bars are sold and shipped frozen, and should be stored either in the freezer or fridge, wrapped and sealed.

  • We recommend keeping the butter bars frozen or refrigerated to maintain optimal freshness. Our butter bars can be kept in the freezer for three to six months, and in the fridge for up to three months. Please make sure they are wrapped and sealed for optimal freshness. 

  • Our gourmet flavoured butter can be enjoyed in many ways, and melting it is definitely one of them! The butter contains other ingredients that may separate at the time of melting and may alter the look and flavour of the butter.

  • We offer courier shipping across the Greater Toronto Area. Delivery will take place as soon as reasonably possible, depending on the delivery method selected. Delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that delivery times do not include weekends and statutory holidays.  You will be required to pay delivery charges in addition to the price for the goods you purchase. You are required to provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient. We are not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong person as a result of you providing us with inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • We want to ensure our Butter Bar customers are satisfied with their experience! Refund requests must be made within 5 days after receipt of your goods, by emailing info@butterbar.ca.  We accept refund requests for goods sold on www.butterbar.ca if the product arrived damaged, if it was the wrong item, and/or if the product did not meet your expectations.  Please note that Refunds do not apply to the following goods:

    • Gifting butter boards;
    • Butter boards with 2 and 3 butter flavours; and
    • Butter bars that have been consumed by more than 15%
