Servings

Ingredients
- 6 slices of your favourite brioche
- ½ stick Butter Bar Cinnamon Sugar Nutmeg Butter
- 3 large eggs
- 350 g whole milk (3.25%)
- 300 g heavy cream (35%)
- 30 g sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
- Make the cinnamon cream. In a small saucepan, combine the milk, cream, sugar, and cinnamon stick. Warm gently over medium-low heat until the sugar has dissolved and the cinnamon is fragrant. Do not allow it to boil. Remove from the heat, discard the cinnamon stick, and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Prepare the custard. Whisk the eggs in a shallow bowl. Slowly whisk in the cooled cinnamon cream mixture until smooth and well combined.
- Soak the brioche. Dip each slice of brioche into the custard, allowing it to soak up the mixture on both sides without becoming overly soft.
- Cook the French toast. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a generous portion of Cinnamon Sugar Nutmeg Butter and allow it to melt. Cook the soaked brioche for approximately 2–3 minutes per side, until beautifully golden and caramelized.
- Butter & serve. Divide the warm French toast between two plates and top with the remaining Cinnamon Sugar Nutmeg Butter, allowing it to slowly melt into the brioche.
-
Finish with maple syrup. Drizzle generously with maple syrup and serve immediately.
Butter Bar Tip
For an extra decadent finish, add another pat of Cinnamon Sugar Nutmeg Butter between the warm slices of French toast. The butter will melt into the brioche, adding warm notes of cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg to every bite.
Perfect With: Fresh berries, sliced bananas, toasted pecans, whipped cream, or a dusting of icing sugar.
